A 90-minute on-site landscape consultation. We come to your property, walk the site, listen to your brief, ask design-relevant questions. You leave with a clear sense of what's possible and an honest recommendation. Complimentary for qualified inquiries.
Yes, complimentary for qualified inquiries. We invest the 90 minutes because the consultation is how we determine whether the project fits — and how you determine whether we do.
No. We do not present contracts during the consultation. There is no pressure to commit. The consultation is for your project, not our portfolio.
No. We don't sell over Zoom or quote from photographs. The 90 minutes on your property is what makes the proposal meaningful when it arrives.
Typically 7-14 days from request, depending on your scheduling preferences.
We keep detailed investment ranges on the Investment page. For ordinary inquiries, we review scope after site diagnosis so the first conversation is grounded in the property, not a generic price menu.
Visit /investment for project-type ranges, phase structure, stewardship ranges, and the reasoning behind fit review.
We offer a complimentary Eden Consultation that produces a defensible-but-approximate investment range. We do not quote firm prices from photos.
Three phases: design retainer (10-15% of estimated total), build (draw-based with mobilization + milestones + final retention), stewardship (monthly billing per annual contract).
We work with HFS Financial as our named home-improvement loan partner. We also help clients evaluate HELOC, PACE (where city-eligible), GreenSky, Wisetack, and renovation mortgages. We do not push any single option.
For qualifying water-efficiency scope such as turf replacement, smart irrigation, drip conversion, and rain barrels, rebates may be available through local agencies. We prepare rebate paperwork as part of qualifying projects, but agency approval, funding, and final amounts are not guaranteed.
No. Our project pricing is identical regardless of payment method. We do not add undisclosed financing fees.
No. We prepare paperwork; final approval and disbursement is governed by the water agency, not us.
We don't impose a single style. We read the architecture first. Working palettes include formal Mediterranean / Tuscan, Spanish Revival, California Modern / Mid-Century, Craftsman heritage, contemporary minimalist, Japanese garden tradition, coastal / oceanfront, English garden, Italian Renaissance.
We're a design-build studio. Every project includes a design phase before build. We do not install from a homeowner-provided design (we welcome partnership with architects + designers).
Typical residential design-build project: 4-8 months from Eden Consultation to handover. Eden Consultation (1 day) → Concept Design (2-4 weeks) → Design Development (3-6 weeks) → Approvals (4-12 weeks parallel) → Build (6-14 weeks varies) → Stewardship (ongoing).
Yes. We have a dedicated Partners program for architects, designers, builders, and developers. We're peer-level collaborators, not vendor-tier.
Yes — structured stewardship for residential, HOA, and commercial properties. We call it stewardship, not maintenance, because the scope includes plant health, irrigation checks, pruning, seasonal refinement, and systems accountability.
No. We are a design-build + stewardship studio, not a mowing service. If your property has substantial lawn, we'll discuss whether stewardship fits your needs or whether redesign + lawn replacement is a better path.
Per property, not per visit. Annual commitment, monthly billing. The Investment page explains current stewardship ranges and fit criteria.
Yes — extensively. Three HOA tiers (Foundation / Professional / Premier) with board-ready monthly reporting, ARC submission packages, AB-1572 readiness planning, capital project execution.
California Assembly Bill 1572 — prohibits potable water for non-functional turf at commercial / institutional / HOA common areas. Phased deadlines through 2029. Single-family residential exempt.
